Active Directory Standardisation project – This initiative is to ensure all AD domain controllers managed by Carnival UK conform to the ABG global security standards in readiness for the deployment of O365 and Azure AD integration. The AD Standardisation project will incorporate the migration/upgrade of approximately 35 AD domain controllers across the Fleet and within Carnival House. The primary objective is to ensure that all AD domain controllers have been upgraded to Windows Servers 2019 with a domain functional level of 2016 or higher.

Maritime Cyber Security (USB scanners) – Carnival Cruise Line have implemented Symantec ICSP security scanners to ensure that all external media is safe before it is presented to the corporate network. Carnival UK will adopt the same solution across both the P&O and Cunard Fleet. The project will install a minimum of two Symantec ICSP USB scanners on each ship, one will be installed on the Bridge and one in the Engine Control Room. The primary use cases are to protect both the navigational and engineering systems on board.

WebMethods upgrade – Essential application and infrastructure resilience project to upgrade the existing WebMethods integration platform on both ship and shore. The new architectural design will also incorporate RHEL/Nginix Layer 7 application load balancing. WebMethods incorporate Integration Services, Universal Messaging and SQL database clustering. A resilient integration platform in AWS will also replace the existing legacy on premise solution.
